⚫️Japanese delicacy in O-BON week “KINAKO-MOCHI(2025年お盆 ーその3)
Few days ago. I wrote an article about “O-HAGI.” This “KINAKO-MOCHI” is the arranged version of it.
“KINAKO-MOCHI” is always available in any season in Japan as well as O-HAGI. However, “KINAKO” which means “Powderly grated soybeans” is derived from natural vegetable and is suited to the manners of “O-BON” avohding, along the principle of Buddhism, “No killing of any animal” or “No animal-derived materials such as butter and milk.
⚫️How to make “KINAKO-MOCHI”
1 Prepare cooked rice and “MOCHI-GOME,” KINAKO, sugar. and salt.
2 make rice balls.
3 Mix KINAKO. tea spoons of sugar. and a pinch of salt and spread into a cooking pat.
