⚫️「梅雨明け」をなんと訳すか？（英語〉
梅雨明けの時季となりました。
わたが住む関東甲信地方も昨日、ようやく「梅雨明け」が気象庁から宣言されました。
「梅雨明け」を簡単に訳すと”The end of the rainy season.”
→ いまGoogle翻訳を使ってみても、私の翻訳とまったく同じなので笑いました笑。
確かに「雨季の終わり」なのだけど、これだとものたりない。私には。
★ジメジメが終わったぞー！
★しこたま降る雨の季節から、カラッと腫れ上がった夏の到来。
★蒸し暑い日本の夏の始まり。
まったく違う季節の始まり。
こんなことが、まったく表現されていないのですよね。”The end of the rainy season”には。雨も良いけれど、「梅雨明け」には気持ちが爽やかに元気にぬれり英語訳げ欲しい。
さて、どうするか。
“TSUYU-AKE” litesally means “The end of the rainy season” in Japanese and Google translate likd that as well.
However. this English translation is missing something like Japanese emotional feeling to the word.
