When I was an elementary school kid, the school (or a related organization) introduced us a dance called “PATA PATA.”
The dance” I thought, originally from South Africa, but we Japanese also have the word . So the naming very impressed us as if the dance itself were created in Japan, at least to the school kids like me.
Japanese “PATA PATA” means busy atmosphere, making winds by UCHIWA fan, or the sounds of birds’ wings while flying

星GOHAN WO PATA PATA TO AOIDE SUMESHI WO TUKURU.→ Fanning the cooked rice to make SUMESHI of SUSHI rice.
★TORI GA PATA PATA TO TONDA.→ Birds have flown spreading their wings.
