⚫️Japanese delicacy in O-BON week “OHAGI”

O-BON week starts from today to this Saturday in Japan although precise “OBON” is from this Wednesday to Sat.

“OHAGI” is a populaqr sweet dish and basically for dead (my favorit dessert as well).^ ^

Made from AZUKI red beans and cooked rice ball, OHAGI may call peaceful spirits with mild taste and gives us retrospective reminisence.

⚫️How to make “OHAGI”

1 Prepare AZUKI, or ANKO made from AZUKI and sugar. If you make ANKO first. boil AZUKI for several hours, smash it after dewater. and then add sugar as well as a pinch of salt.

2 Cook rice and make rice balls.

3 Cover 2 with 1 by spreading 1 on a cooking pat or wrapping sheets and roll 2 on the pat or sheets and mold them carefully and beautifully (lol).
