You can hear the music of cicada (lol) anywhere in Japan in this season such as “MINMIN” or “JIIIIIII” (these are also Japanese onomatopoeia expressing the sounds of the insects.)
“JITTORI” mans sweaty, humid, conditions of your skin or sticky feelings influenced by the high temperature and hot weather of Japanese summer.
●How to use “JITTORI”
★JITTORI SURUNE. KYO WA ATTSUI.（じっとりするね。今日はあっつい）。→ My skin is so sweaty. So hot today, isn’t it?
★JITTORI SHITA KUHKI.（じっとりした空気） → The air is humid.
